Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Hey loves, rainbow game still growing strong here. When I saw this jumpsuit I just felt like I had to have it. I kinda love jumpsuits because just like dresses if they have a fun print you don’t really have to do much else. Just let the outfit do the talking and let me tell you walking around like a rainbow definitely gives you all the happy vibes. Also there’s an old movie theatre here in town and they have the Wizard of Oz poster painted on the wall and this just felt like the perfect place to show off this jumpsuit.

Hats Off to 2019

Hello 2019! Can’t believe it’s already a start to a new year. I wanted to kick of the new year with a fun style post. Chris has always told me that I could pull off any kind of hat and while I liked to believe him, I’ve always stuck to just a baseball cap. Well it’s a new year so it’s time to try some new things and sometimes that includes taking a fashion risk for yourself. I’ve been wanting a wide brim hat for some time but just have never pulled the trigger in buying one until now. I mean if not now then when right? I had this one sitting in my Forever 21 wishlist for about two weeks before I bought it and I’m so glad that I did. To my surprise I actually really really like it.

So here’s to trying new things this year!!!

DIY // Festive Christmas Tree Crown

So the holidays are already in full swing over here. I’ve already played white elephant, started secret santa, and decorated all around the apartment…and it’s only just a few days into December! Currently my calendar is already booked every weekend with some kind of holiday party…I mean the more the merrier when it comes to parties right?! Anyway I wanted to share this quick and easy festive diy that is sure to be a hit at any Christmas gathering you’ve got going on this holiday season. Also does it get any cuter than mini sequin trees? I don’t think so.

Supplies: Bottle Brush Trees, Sequins, Headband, & Glue Gun with Glue

The steps are simple.

1. Hot glue your sequins onto the trees to resemble ornaments.

2. Glue the trees to the headband…and that’s it! *you could also at this point add some felt underneath the headband in the areas where the trees are glued*
