Blink Me

Tank: Marshals, Jeans: Forever 21, Wedges: Marshalls

So last night was the Blink 182 & My Chemical Romance concert.  We pretty much went to see My Chemical Romance and took a chance on Blink 182. I've always loved MCR's old stuff and their latest album has started to grow on me. They put on an okay performance but I've seen them better and felt just a bit disappointed. Now I wish I would have been a Blink fan because I probably would have felt like I was at the best concert. These guys put on a really great show but unfortunately for me I just couldn't get into it. Even with the songs I did know I still didn't feel like I was having an amazing time. This was the first concert we actually left early for...that NEVER happens! Oh well first time for everything right?

Have any of you ever seen Blink 182 or My Chemical Romance?
What's your take on them?

Here's a video of one of the 5 songs I knew from Blink...first date :)

Another Day, Another Concert

This holiday weekend was filled with concerts...yesterday we went to the uproar festival.  The three bands I wanted to see was Seether, Three Days Grace, and Avenged Sevenfold.  I've actually seen Avenged Sevenfold 3 times in the past year and they've gotten better each time I see them.  The first time I saw them I honestly wasn't too impressed, the second time I became a true fan, and yesterday they pretty much blew me away. I usually don't wear  concert t-shirts to concerts but I decided to be like the boyfriend and go in his usual concert attire. He bought me this shirt back in April when we saw Avenged Sevenfold in San Antonio. I've had these tights for forever but this is actually the first time I've worn them.  And of course I had to go in my black booties, for some reason they make me feel ready for some good rock music. How did you all spend the long weekend?

Here's a video of the concert, my camera kept refocusing but oh well.

Best Night Ever

Tuesday wasn't really going the way I would have liked but thankfully when the night came all was forgotten.  I ended up getting tickets to go see Papa Roach...one of my favorite bands and had the most amazing time.  Papa Roach always brings it and the energy in the venue was crazy...I even blew Jerry Horton, the lead guitarist a kiss..and he saw me do it.  It was so hot in there I actually went into the concert with my hair straight and left with it wavy.  When the concert was over my brother and I decided to wait for the band after hearing that last year they came out to sign autographs and take pics with everyone.  After my hunger pains passed and continually telling my brother just 10 more minutes and then we'll leave Jacoby, the singer of the band finally came out.  He was so awesome to meet in person and spoke with everyone, signed autographs, and took pictures.  Like I said the best night ever...

Me and Jacoby

My brother's way cooler pictures....

I love this song...I was moving a little too much just wanted to share some video from the concert :)

This is one from last year...apparently my boyfriend is a lot better at holding his hand steady...
