Classic Stripes for Date Night

Top: Thrifted, Skirt: Langford Market, Heels: Lulu's
Hey everyone, I hope you all had a Happy 4th! My family threw a huge party and we spent the night at my parents' house dancing on the patio to a dj playing all of our favorite music. good times :) This is another date night outfit...seriously these nights are my favorite. I love taking some time out of the middle of the week to be just us two and forget about our hectic schedules for just awhile. Oh and dressing up is definitely a plus. I've talked about my love for stripes before but surprisingly I've never had just a simple classic stripe tee. I finally thrifted this one about a two weeks ago...it's a rotating favorite.

Date Night Outfit

Dress worn as blouse: Marshalls, Skirt: Langford Market (similar), Heels: Rebecca Minkoff, Clutch: Thrifted
Ever since we got married, our weekends have been tied up with hanging out with either mine or Chris' family. We quickly decided that we needed a day for just ourselves. That's where date night came in. So every Wednesday me and Chris go out for dinner, and as of lately a movie. This is one of those date night outfits. Even if we do go to the movie theater which is a pretty casual place, I dress up anyway. Sequins, a skirt, and high heels is the perfect kind of outfit for me.
Happy Weekend girlies!!!

The Sheer Details

Blouse: Gifted, Skirt: Thrifted, Necklace: F21, Heels: L.A.M.B.
I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was spent celebrating two birthdays and father's day...lots and lots of good food and cake! This was an outfit from over the weekend I wore to a pizza and movie date. Me and Chris went to go watch  Man of Steel, or should I say Chris saw it?? We went to a late showing and I fell asleep!! Total fail. I can say that the parts of the movie I did see, I liked.  I've worn this blouse a few times but always with a camisole underneath. I decided this time to try it with showing off the sheer details and paired it with a skirt that has a shimmer to it...you know, just to feel more in my natural element.
